The official pass rate is low for a reason — the theory test requires more than just memorisation. It demands real-world understanding and focussed hazard perception skills. There have been updates to the DVSA question bank linked to topics of first aid and also new hazard perception clips linked to driving in adverse weather conditions.

Our bespoke course curriculum is delivered over seven weekly structured evening sessions, ensuring you fully grasp the knowledge of all aspects contained within and the skills required for both parts of the test. We also use current update to date study guides to give examples of questions that you might experience on the day. Your theory test will comprise of two parts:

• Who is this for? Anyone preparing for the UK Driving Theory Test who wants expert guidance, especially those who have failed previously.
• When are the classes? Our classes are held on Monday evenings starting on the 10th November 2025 between 1800pm until 1930 pm. If demand exists then we are happy to consider hosting additional midweek training sessions.

Theory Test Questions
You will be asked 50 random multiple choice questions from the theory test syllabus and you must score 43 or above to pass this element of the test. It is a requirement that both parts of the test must be taken and passed at the same sitting. We recommend using Theory Test Pro as an online study guide and this software package will be gifted access to you during your course attendance.

Hazard Perception
This element of the theory test involves you watching video clips, as if you were the driver of the vehicle concerned. You must identify hazards contained within the clip. The earlier the identification is made, the higher point score is awarded. From a total score of 75 marks you must score 57 to pass. Failing any aspect of the test will result in a fail of the whole test process and you will need to resit.
